Ukrainian Armed Forces drone flew into the window of a school in Crimea

A drone of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) flew into the window of the second floor of a school in the village of Foros on the southern coast of Crimea. An employee of the educational institution told about this on September 22.

"The drone crashed into the window of the second floor, after which an explosion occurred," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.

It is noted that the wreckage of the drone scattered across the school grounds. A drone engine and many fragments from windows blown out by the blast wave were found in the courtyard.

According to an employee of the school, the library, the assembly hall and the dining room were damaged, but the academic building was not damaged.

Earlier in the day, footage of the aftermath of the Ukrainian Armed Forces strike on the school was published. It was noted that almost all the windows were blown out, and the courtyard was littered with fragments.

The day before, the head of the Republic of Crimea, Sergey Aksyonov, announced the deaths and 15 wounded in the Ukrainian Armed Forces attack on the Foros sanatorium. In addition, due to the fall of the wreckage of the downed drone, dry grass caught fire near the city of Yalta. Later, on September 22, it became known that the death toll had increased to three.

It was later added that the victims of the attack received the necessary medical care. The staff of the Ministry of Emergency Situations eliminated the fire in the sanatorium.
