On September 22, eyewitness Sergei, in an interview with Izvestia, told how he discovered the drone after the attack of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on Foros in the Crimea.
"We had a rest, we came to rest, yesterday we heard clapping: it was banging all night. We came to the yard in the morning, and we found pieces of shrapnel. It was already raining on the roof. We saw explosions, and everything was exploding in front of the cliff," Sergei said.
He added that he saw an airplane-type drone on the bottom, but was afraid to take it out.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked the village of Foros on September 21, resulting in damage to a local school and sanatorium. All the victims of the attack received the necessary medical assistance.
The head of the Republic of Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, later reported that dry grass had caught fire near the city of Yalta due to falling debris from a downed drone.
The Investigative Committee of Russia has opened a criminal case on a terrorist attack on the fact that the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked civilian facilities in Crimea.
