Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin congratulated Russia's chief rabbis Berl Lazar, Adolf Shaevich, and Chairman of the Federation of Jewish Communities of Russia Alexander Boroda on Rosh Hashanah, wishing them well and noting the contribution of Jewish communities to the social sphere and support for military personnel in the special military operation zone. The corresponding telegram has been published on the official website of the Government of the Russian Federation.

"Today, Russian Jewish communities are actively working to implement important projects in the social sphere, in the field of interreligious dialogue, education and culture," the statement said.

According to Mishustin, thanks to the rabbis, synagogues are being restored in various regions of Russia, community churches are being built, and humanitarian assistance is being provided to military personnel in the SVR zone.

"I wish you and all followers of Judaism prosperity. May the coming year bring good luck in business and be prosperous for you and your loved ones," concluded the Prime Minister.

On the same day, Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated the country's Jews on Rosh Hashanah, emphasizing their respect for the history and traditions of their people. Putin also wished Russian Jews health, success and all the best.
