The assembly hall and the library suffered the most damage during the drone attack The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) at a school in Crimea. Tatiana Kargapoltseva, the director of the educational institution, told Izvestia about this on September 22.
According to her, the canteen and the food hall were also damaged. The principal added that during the fire in this part of the school, fire protection went off, which flooded the premises.
Kargapoltseva noted that as soon as it became known about the fire, she called the Ministry of Emergency Situations and an ambulance, and then came herself. She added that the services worked quickly.
Earlier in the day, footage of the aftermath of the attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on the school was published. It was noted that almost all the windows were blown out, and the courtyard was littered with fragments.
The day before, the head of the Republic of Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, announced the deaths and 15 wounded in the Ukrainian Armed Forces attack on the Foros sanatorium. In addition, due to the fall of the wreckage of the downed drone, dry grass caught fire near the city of Yalta. Later, on September 22, it became known that the death toll had increased to three.
It was later added that the victims of the attack received the necessary medical care. The staff of the Ministry of Emergency Situations eliminated the fire in the sanatorium.
