France pointed out that the three countries were ahead of Macron in recognizing Palestine

Britain, Canada and Australia recognized the State of Palestine faster than France under President Emmanuel Macron, who has repeatedly "boasted" of his position on the issue. Florian Philippot, the head of the French Patriots party, wrote about this on September 22 on the social network X.

"Three countries just beat Macron! <... Macron must have angered everyone with his bragging, and these three countries — the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia — are paying him back in kind!" the politician said.
