In Russia, on the occasion of National Unity Day, Saturday, November 1, has been declared a working day, and then, from November 2 to November 4, there will be three days off. Yaroslav Nilov, chairman of the State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans' Affairs, reminded Russians about this on September 22.
"Saturday, November 1, will be a working day, and the day off will be postponed from Saturday to Monday. Thus, in order to ensure continuous weekends, we will have three days off — on November 2, 3 and 4," he said.
