The victory of US President Donald Trump in all the swing states in the 2024 presidential elections was secured by the support of the youth, who are called the "army" of the deceased conservative politician and activist Charlie Kirk. This was announced on September 21 by White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, speaking at a memorial service for Kirk in Arizona.

"President Trump's victory, won by the results of voting in all swing states, was secured by young people, most of whom were new to politics," Wiles noted.

She also noted that Kirk showed the youth how high the stakes are in the 2024 elections.

Kirk died on September 10 as a result of an assassination attempt committed at the time of his speech at the University of Utah.

On September 16, suspect Tyler Robinson was formally charged with capital murder, intentionally or knowingly causing Kirk's death in circumstances that pose a significant risk of death to others. The next day, he appeared in court for the first time via video link and spoke only once — when he was asked to introduce himself.

He voluntarily surrendered to law enforcement officers, fearing that he might be shot during his arrest. By agreement with the police, Robinson's parents were with him during the surrender.
