A fire broke out in the Epicenter shopping center in Kiev

In Kiev, there is a fire in the shopping center (shopping center) "Epicenter" on the Dnieper embankment. This was reported on September 21 by the online publication Strana.ua", posting a video from the scene on the Telegram channel.

The video footage shows how visitors to the shopping center run out into the street. Inside the building, the lights went out partially, and the escalators stopped. According to the recording, the fire occurred on the trading floor, where household goods are presented.

Epicenter is one of the largest retail enterprises in Ukraine. The network includes several dozen hypermarkets.

Before that, on September 6, "The Country.ua" reported that a fire broke out in a confectionery factory in Kiev. It is specified that the fire occurred at the Roshen enterprise, which belongs to the former president of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko (it is part of an association listed by Rosfinmonitoring as involved in extremist activities or terrorism). As a result of the incident, no one was injured.
