On the evening of September 21, the Air Defense forces shot down 22 drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine over the regions of the Russian Federation. This was announced by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

"In the period from 16.00 to 20.00 Moscow time, 22 Ukrainian aircraft—type unmanned aerial vehicles were intercepted and destroyed by air defense systems on duty," the department's Telegram channel said.
