Balitsky reported 14 wounded during the attacks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the Zaporizhia region.

On September 21, 14 people were injured in attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on the city of Vasilevka in the Zaporizhia region, and another died in hospital. This was announced by the head of the region Evgeny Balitsky.

"As a result of the AFU artillery attack on the Vasilyevsky municipal district, 14 people were injured. <...> Unfortunately, one man died in hospital from his injuries," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

The head of the Zaporizhia region recalled that there is a one-year-old child among the victims.

Earlier in the day, the Ukrainian Armed Forces shelled an apartment building in the Zaporizhia region, injuring 12 people. Among the victims is a child born in 2024. The baby is in stable condition, his life is not in danger. Later, the governor of Zaporizhia, Yevgeny Balitsky, announced the death of one person due to shelling of the private sector. Three people are also in serious condition. In addition, another woman died in the city itself.

The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation has opened a criminal case on the facts of attacks on the Zaporozhye region. At the moment, all the circumstances of the incident are being established, as well as the identity of the Ukrainian militants who gave and executed the orders in order to further bring them to criminal responsibility.
