The legacy of American political activist Charlie Kirk transcends any boundaries and unites people. This was announced on September 21 by Kirill Dmitriev, Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation, CEO of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF).

"Charlie Kirk's legacy transcends any boundaries — it is a voice of faith, courage and truth that unites us all," he wrote on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

Earlier in the day, Dmitriev also noted Kirk's enormous contribution to the development of Christianity.

Kirk, who was assassinated during his speech at the University of Utah, died on September 10. He played a key role in the victory of American President Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential election. The White House was closely monitoring this situation — the "situation room" was involved in the process.

On September 16, Tyler Robinson, a suspect in the assassination attempt, was formally charged with serious murder, intentionally or knowingly causing Kirk's death in circumstances that pose a significant risk of death to others. The next day, he appeared in court for the first time via video link. During the entire hearing, he spoke only once, when the judge asked him to introduce himself.
