Football players of the Samara club Krylia Sovetov went to the away match of the ninth round of the Russian Premier League (RPL) against Spartak Moscow by taxi. This was announced on September 21 by football player Nikita Chernov.

"We're taking a taxi to the match today," Chernov wrote on his Telegram channel.

The Spartak press service said that the players were unable to take the bus due to the risk of being late for the match.

"Due to the closure of streets in the center of Moscow, logistical difficulties arose, there was a risk that the bus would not arrive on time. We apologize to the guests," the TASS press service reports.

Earlier, on September 18, Spartak Moscow was defeated by Rostov with a score of 1:2 in favor of the guests. In the sixth minute, Manfred Ugalde put the hosts ahead, for him this goal was the first of the season. However, Daniil Shantali (54th minute) and Ilya Vakhania (88th minute) scored in the second half, ensuring Rostov's victory.
