Belarus does not want to go to war with Poland. This was stated by the country's Defense Minister Viktor Khrenin in an interview with journalist Pavel Zarubin.

According to him, the course of the Polish military differs from the political leadership, from which, as he clarifies, all aggression follows. He stressed that Minsk is interested in reducing tension, primarily military tension.

"Poland is, after all, our neighbors. As our president says, neighbors are not chosen. We don't want to fight them," Khrenin said.

Earlier, on September 15, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko announced that he had no illusions about resuming dialogue with Poland. He noted that Belarusians and Poles are not enemies of each other. At the same time, according to him, Warsaw "continues to make unfounded claims and accusations" against Minsk.
