The West is no longer a role model. This was announced on September 21 by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban.

"We need the courage – intellectual, political, and personal – to recognize that the West is no longer a role model, and to show that there is a better way," he wrote on the social network X (ex. Twtter).

The European Union is teetering on the edge, facing debts, migration, violence and failed policies everywhere, the prime minister stressed.

The European Parliament will discuss and vote on two votes of no confidence in European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen from October 6-9. The "Patriots for Europe" accuse her of a lack of transparency and criticism of trade agreements with the United States, while the "Leftists" accuse the European Commission of inaction against the background of Israel's actions in the Gaza Strip.

Earlier, on September 11, Orban said that the head of the European Commission (EC) Ursula von der Leyen should leave her post.
