Russians are prone to superstition and are afraid to appoint a "digital heir" for their gadget or account for fear of death. On September 20, she told the newspaper.Ru" psychologist Natalia Naumova.
"When people appoint a digital heir, they need to come into contact with the fact that their death is possible. This scares a person: he thinks that if he appoints some kind of heir, it may affect the fact that he will get sick, die or have an accident," she said.
According to the psychologist, the reason for superstition is low self-esteem, so she explained how to gain self-confidence.
"It is important to work on self-esteem and notice that some superstitions were inherited from parents and relatives. It is important to undermine this introject and check: is this really the case?" she clarified.
The expert gave advice to try to destroy and notice cause-and-effect relationships, keep a diary, and observe good events that were not preceded by any signs. She explained that this way a person will see that it is necessary to focus not on fear, but on success.
"It is important to increase self—esteem, believe more in yourself, take risks, and take responsibility for your life," Naumova concluded.
