The exact route of Russia's first high—speed railway Moscow - St. Petersburg has become known.

The Moscow—Saint Petersburg high-speed railway project assumes the presence of 16 stations. This was reported by RBC on September 20.

Among the 16 stations, two will be technical — Tigoda in Novgorod and Gorki in Tver regions. The remaining 14 stops will become passenger stops. Trains will stop at such stations as Leningradsky Railway Station, Rizhskaya, Petrovsko-Razumovskaya, Zelenograd-Kryukovo, Vysokovo, Novaya Tver, Logovezh, Sadva, Vypolzovo, Valdai, Veliky Novgorod, Zharovskaya, Yuzhny and St. Petersburg Main.

In addition, a depot for train maintenance is planned to be built in the Obukhovo metro area.

Earlier that day, the HSR information center announced plans to build 239 bridges and 180 km long overpasses on the highway. It is expected that the longest flyover will be 14 km and will be built in the St. Petersburg area.
