The performances of musicians in the rear of the liberated territories are necessary for the unity of local residents and the Russian army. Andrey Reshetin, a veteran of the SVO, ex-violinist of the Aquarium group, told about this in the new issue of the Lime podcast. The musician retired as a volunteer in 2022.

"We performed not only at the front, but also in the rear. It's also very important what you do there for the locals. Their mood should change, they should feel the Russian army as their army. We are doing this work too," the violinist said.

Reshetin recalled that before he had a stroke, he served in the first front-line creative brigade, with which he performed not only for the military, but also for civilians in the liberated territories.

"I played about life and about victory, about our rightness. He sang that we were liberating our native land and liberating it from the "janissaries": that's what I call the Russian people who hate us. It's happened before. I came because this is all my land. And Kiev is my city, my story is there," the musician is sure.

Earlier, on August 7, Edgard Zapashny, People's Artist of Russia, General Director of the Bolshoi Moscow State Circus, told about his trips to the SVO zone in the podcast "Lime". With his trips, among other things, he would like to attract the attention of cultural figures who can perform in their area, but still do not do so.
