Acting as part of a motorized rifle unit, Corporal Gennady Kuchinsky discovered and repelled an attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on a stronghold that had previously been taken by Russian fighters. The press service of the Russian Defense Ministry reported on the exploits of the Russian Army in the area of the special military operation on Saturday, September 20.

It is clarified that in one of the areas of the special operation, the Ukrainian Armed Forces attempted to regain previously lost positions. Kuchinsky, who was on the front line, performing the task of holding the mainstay, promptly discovered the advance of the enemy, took up an advantageous position and joined the battle.

As a result of the decisive actions of the corporal, two servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were destroyed by targeted fire. The enemy was unable to break through further and strike from the flank. At the same time, as emphasized in the Ministry of Defense, Kuchinsky performed a combat mission even while under intense mortar fire.

Thanks to the professionalism of the fighter, the enemy was unable to continue the attack and break through the defense of the Russian Armed Forces in an important area.

It is also reported that Second Lieutenant Marat Kaseinov led a motorized rifle unit during the repulse of an attack by two Ukrainian assault groups. Thus, the commander was able to identify the enemy's intent, after which he indicated advantageous landmarks and firing sectors to the personnel. As a result, the Ukrainian Armed Forces were unable to break through the defenses of the Russian troops and suffered a serious defeat.

Earlier, on September 17, Senior Sergeant Andrei Shleikov, during a combat mission, carried a wounded comrade out from under enemy fire to a safe place. The Defense Ministry also said that Corporal Eduard Zakirzyanov discovered an enemy sabotage and reconnaissance group (DRG) during the protection of positions on one of the sections of the line of contact. The soldier immediately reported on the opponents moving through the forest belt by radio, after which he joined the battle.
