Krasnodar will increase the free parking time in city parking lots

Krasnodar will increase the free parking time for cars in municipal parking areas without barriers. Now it will be available not from 20:00, but an hour earlier — from 19:00. The new rules will come into force by the end of 2025.

This decision was made after appeals from residents, especially from residential areas where the issue of paid parking is particularly relevant. It is assumed that the initiative will make the use of parking lots more accessible and convenient.

Currently, there are 286 paid municipal parking lots for more than 12,000 places in the regional capital, writes KrasnodarMedia news agency. In 2024, their work brought more than 823 million rubles to the city's road fund, which were allocated for the development of road infrastructure.

Earlier it was reported that in Krasnodar, from September 15 to December 30, traffic will be restricted on the section of Sadovaya Street — from MOPRa to Hippodromnaya. Inconveniences are associated with the reconstruction of the collector.
