Maxim Nedyakin, an expert in the field of organization management, named on Friday, September 19, the professions that people will lose primarily because of robots, as well as those that artificial intelligence (AI) will not be able to replace.

According to the expert, in the next 3-5 years, many professions where work is strictly regulated and repeated according to instructions will disappear. He clarified that cashiers, call center operators, bank employees and ordinary support staff will gradually give way to AI.

"Where everything is predictable, the car will be more efficient. But there is a downside to this coin. The more algorithms take over, the more clearly the sphere becomes visible, where you can't do without a person," Nedyakin said in an interview with Lenta.Ru .

He clarified that where it is necessary to improvise, take responsibility and build trust, the car loses.

"The second point is related to technical limitations. Automation works great in the "dry" conditions of the workshop, where the details are standard and the world is predictable. But in "wet physics" — with mud, liquids, non—standard nodes and unforeseen circumstances - the human hand, eye and judgment are still indispensable," Nedyakin stressed.

In addition, the expert attributed nurses and nurses to professions that AI is unlikely to be able to replace, RT reports.

"Ambulance crews are also indispensable," Nedyakin expressed confidence.

He added that AI will not be able to replace educators, teachers, firefighters, rescuers, as well as cooks and especially chefs for the same reasons.

Nedyakin believes that machines can remove 99% of routine work, but the crucial 1% — trust, empathy, and the ability to act in conditions of uncertainty — will remain with humans.

On September 18, Sergey Malanyin, an orthopedic dentist, an expert of the legislative Assembly at the Health Committee of the Russian Federation, head of the scientific laboratory of the Institute of Osteopathy of the Russian Federation, said that in the near future technologies in the field of dentistry will step forward, so 3D scanning can be done in almost every clinic.

He noted that digital impressions and 3D scanning will be used in the diagnosis of diseases, and artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms will allow detecting caries and other problems with teeth and oral cavity. 360.ru .

Earlier, on August 6, Natalia Golovanova, head of the SuperJob research center, told NSN that the number of vacancies suggesting experience in working with artificial intelligence is growing.
