The Telegraph noted Zuckerberg's failure at the presentation of smart glasses with AI
The head of the American Meta (the company's activities are recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation), Mark Zuckerberg, completely failed the presentation of smart glasses with artificial intelligence (AI). This was reported on September 19 by The Telegraph newspaper.
"At the presentation of Meta's new artificial intelligence (AI) glasses, Mark Zuckerberg was shocked due to problems during the demonstration on stage," the publication says.
It is clarified that the presentation featured new Meta Ray-Ban Display glasses based on AI with a tiny built-in screen that can be used to read messages, track a card or make video calls. The device owner can control the display using gestures, which are read by a wristband or a "neural wristband".
According to the newspaper, attempts to demonstrate the ability to make calls using glasses, which cost $800 or £586, stopped after Zuckerberg failed to answer a video call three times.
In addition, chef and influencer Jack Mancuso in another segment asked his glasses to help him with a recipe for Korean steak sauce, but the AI-based chatbot built into the glasses could not respond to his request.
It is noted that Zuckerberg has invested tens of billions of dollars in the "so-called Metaverse," which is a "mixture of social networks and virtual reality." The experimental division of Reality Labs has spent $100 billion on this technology.
Earlier, on June 25, Sam Altman, the head of OpenAI and the creator of the chat bot ChatGPT, said that computers currently do not have the ability to fully work with artificial intelligence. According to him, the user's needs for software and hardware are likely to change as AI becomes more widespread.
