SHAMAN called his serial number on Intervision symbolic
The Russian participant of the international music competition "Intervision", Honored Artist of the Russian Federation singer SHAMAN (real name Yaroslav Dronov) considers lucky and symbolic his serial number "nine", under which he will perform at the event.
The performer connected it, among other things, with the Victory Day holiday — May 9th.
"I'm sure this is a lucky number, because after all, it's the ninth month of September, nine is the golden mean, and, of course, nine is a sacred number for our country," he said on September 19 on the Good Morning program on Channel One.
On September 16, Sergey Kiriyenko, First Deputy head of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the competition, noted that performers from a number of countries wanted to participate in Intervision, but the leaders of their countries opposed it. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov also said that Intervision could become an annual competition. He stressed that some countries have already shown interest in the competition and expressed their willingness to host it in the coming years.
The final of Intervision will be held in Moscow on September 20 at the Live Arena. SHAMAN will perform from the Russian Federation with Maxim Fadeev's musical composition "Straight to the Heart". Alexander Ovechkin, a Russian hockey player and captain of the Washington Capitals NHL club, has been announced as the cultural ambassador of Intervision 2025. The final of the competition will be hosted by performer Alexey Vorobyov and Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Aida Garifullina.
