Alexey Pesoshin was appointed Prime Minister of Tatarstan. This was announced by the head of the republic, Rustam Minnikhanov, at the 12th meeting of the State Council of the region.

"Alexey Valerievich has been the first Deputy Prime Minister since 2014. Since 2017, he has headed the Government of the republic. Prior to that, he worked in Kazan in various positions and went through a very good path to work in the government. Over the years, Tatarstan has consistently been among the leading regions of our country," said Minnikhanov.
