Russian fighter Alexander Kuznetsov returned to life 52 minutes after cardiac arrest due to timely measures taken by doctors. Andrey Kondrakhin, a general practitioner and Candidate of Medical Sciences, told about this on Friday, September 19.
"This is very rare, which indicates that the body has a good opportunity to adapt to such an unpleasant situation, plus its young age, and taking certain actions before the hospitalization stage played a role," he said in an interview with aif.ru .
He added that the professional actions of the doctors allowed him to survive.
Earlier that day, military doctor Alexander Babiev said that a seriously wounded soldier of a special military operation (SVO), whose heart stopped, revived after 52 minutes on the operating table, IA Regnum reports.
According to the medic, the fighter was admitted to the hospital in serious condition, his left leg was crushed, and there was also a huge loss of blood. His heart stopped seven minutes before he was admitted to the operating room. Doctors tried to resuscitate Kuznetsov even after the hope of salvation was almost completely reduced to zero.
52 minutes later, the fighter's heart started beating again, according to the website. kp.ru . Babiev called the incident a miracle.
According to the specialist, the incident is called Lazarus syndrome.
Earlier, on August 29, a military doctor with the call sign Peter reported that the military doctors of the Dnepr group of forces had saved a special military operation (SVO) soldier who had lost four liters of blood.
