Aeroflot launches flights between St. Petersburg and Krasnodar

Aeroflot Airlines has resumed air service between St. Petersburg and Krasnodar. This was announced on September 19 by the Aeroflot press service.

"Flights in this direction will be carried out daily. The first flight SU2954 took place with a full commercial load on an Airbus A320 aircraft in a two—class layout: 8 Business class seats and 150 Economy class seats," the Telegram channel said.

The company expects that the new destination will become popular and will contribute to the growth of tourist and business passenger traffic between St. Petersburg and Krasnodar Krai.

Build in Kuban: another major airport opened in the south of the country

From Krasnodar, it will be possible to fly to Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Krasnoyarsk, as well as to Istanbul and Dubai.

Earlier in the day, analysts at Yandex Travel told Izvestia that the opening of the airport in Krasnodar had spurred tourist interest in Kuban.

On September 11, the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation announced that Krasnodar airport had resumed its work and was now open for flight services.
