- Zakharova joked about Poland's possible reaction to the testing of UAVs in North Korea
On September 19, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, ironically commented on the statement of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) about the tests of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) taking place there.
The diplomat suggested that the news from North Korea could be followed by a natural reaction from Poland.
"We are waiting for comments from Warsaw on how they are being intimidated," the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs wrote in her Telegram channel.
Earlier, in a statement published on the official website of the department, she also noted that the accusations against Russia of attempts at provocation in connection with the incident with drones in Poland are unfounded. The diplomat added that the accusations of European countries in violating airspace allegedly by Russian drones are aimed at disrupting the conflict settlement process in Ukraine.
On September 19, the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported that North Korean leader Kim Jong-un led the tests of drones developed in the country's institutes. The Head of State got acquainted with the work of various unmanned weapons, including strategic and tactical reconnaissance UAVs and multipurpose drones. It was noted that Kim Jong-un expressed great satisfaction with the test result.
