The relevant bill was approved by deputies of the Regional Duma. The Committee on Transport, Road Management and Informatization recommended that the document be adopted in the first reading and final version.
According to the head of the committee, Artur Popov, quoted by the Bi-port news agency, the northerners are interested in adopting the amendment, as this will give them the opportunity not to depend on restrictions on mobile Internet.
In this regard, the demand for the installation of a fiber-optic line has increased significantly in the region, the agency notes.
The draft law was developed taking into account changes in federal legislation.
Earlier it was reported that hiking trails will be legalized in the Murmansk region. Similar measures will affect the whole country. The relevant bill introducing the concept of "tourist trail" is planned to be adopted in the State Duma. The new rule will regulate issues related to the creation, operation and management of hiking trails. There are also plans to create an all-Russian register of tourist trails, which will include data on the purpose of the route, complexity and key attractions.
