Ten forest parks will be built in the Moscow region in 2025
By the end of 2025, 10 forest parks are to be established in the Moscow Region. As of September, work is underway on 144 hectares of the territory.
According to Igor Bryntsalov, Chairman of the Moscow Regional Duma, quoted by the online publication Podmoskovye Segodnya, Moscow region forests are the basis for the ecological development of the entire region. They occupy 45% of the area of the region. It is important not only to preserve this legacy, but also to actively increase it.
Work is also being carried out in the Kuchinsky Park in Balashikha, in the Sokolka Forest Park in Istra, and in the Banny Les forest Park in Krasnoarmeysk.
Anyone can contribute to this work by planting their own tree. This year, as part of the "Garden of Memory" campaign, seedlings were planted in memory of the heroes of Russia. And next Saturday, September 20, a Day in the Forest campaign will be held in the Moscow region.
Earlier it was reported that more than 90% of Moscow's apartment buildings have already been prepared for the new heating season. Large-scale work is currently underway: hydraulic tests are being carried out on the heating networks. They make it possible to identify weak sections of pipelines and promptly repair them so that the heat supply is uninterrupted during the heating season.
