The deputy of the rada called the ex-Minister of Defense of Ukraine Umerov the worst in history

On September 19, Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Alexei Goncharenko (listed in the Russian Federation as a terrorist and extremist) called former Defense Minister Rustem Umerov "the worst in history" after his family found real estate abroad.

"It's difficult to even count the number of corruption scandals for Umerov. <...> One of the worst defense ministers in the entire history of Ukraine," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

Goncharenko clarified that Umerov's relatives had found eight luxury real estate properties in the United States, four villas near Miami, three apartments in Florida and one in New York.

At the same time, according to the deputy, Umerov is currently "quietly holed up" in the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC).

The day before, the Ukrainian Anti-Corruption Center announced that Umerov's relatives had found eight apartments and villas in the United States. At the same time, the NSDC clarified that the minister's parents and brother and their family do live in two of the mentioned facilities, but Umerov does not pay for their accommodation.
