Tomas Kryl, an adviser to the Czech Embassy in Minsk, was declared persona non grata in Belarus. This was announced on September 19 by the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

It is noted that the initiative was a response to the Czech Republic's decision to expel a Belarusian diplomat with the rank of adviser from the country. The Foreign Ministry added that the decision was also led by "the Czech authorities' cultivated bias against Belarus for years."

"As a response, it was announced that the Czech diplomat had been declared persona non grata, who must leave the territory of Belarus within 72 hours," the website of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry says.

In addition, the Charge d'affaires of Poland in Belarus, Wojciech Filimonovich, was also summoned to the Foreign Ministry. The ministry clarified that they had a "detailed conversation on the current state of Belarusian-Polish relations."

On September 12, Russian Ambassador to the Czech Republic Alexander Zmeevsky called on the Czech government to think about who actually benefits from the incident with unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in Poland.

On September 10, the operational command of the branches of the Armed Forces (AF) of Poland reported the destruction by Polish military of several drones that violated the airspace of the republic. Prime Minister Donald Tusk called the incident a large-scale provocation.
