The head of the Liberal Democratic Party Leonid Slutsky, during a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin and leaders of parliamentary factions, pointed out the problem with migrants in the Leninsky district of Novosibirsk.

"Today, I must say that many LDPR bills in terms of normalizing the situation in the field of migration, which people are constantly talking about, have already been adopted," he is quoted as saying on the Kremlin's website.

In addition, Slutsky invited all parliamentary parties to support the initiative to impose restrictions on the entry into the country of migrant families who do not have Russian citizenship. He specified that large families of foreign citizens enter the territory of the state en masse and create queues in medical and social institutions.

On September 9, a group of deputies from the Fair Russia – For Truth faction submitted to the State Duma a bill that would ban family members of migrant workers from entering and staying in Russia. The draft law assumes that relatives of foreign citizens working in Russia will not be able to obtain the right to enter and stay in the country.
