Dmitry Kaigorodov, the former deputy head of the city of Khimki, was detained in a case of particularly large-scale fraud in the housing and communal services sector. This was reported on September 18 by law enforcement agencies.

"Kaygorodov has been detained, he is suspected under Part 4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Fraud on an especially large scale")," the TASS news agency quoted the investigator as saying.

It is noted that Kaygorodov violated the law when fulfilling contracts with the municipal enterprise "Housing and communal services of the Chekhov district".
