Experts estimated the cost of apartment renovation in 2025

Among the home improvement services, cosmetic repairs became the most popular in August. They include updating walls and ceilings, laying flooring and installing lighting fixtures. According to Avito Services experts (Izvestia has calculations), the share of this type of repair amounted to 15% of the total demand for turnkey apartment repair services. The average cost of work starts from 3.8 thousand rubles per 1 sq. m.

The major renovation of the apartment also accounted for 12% of all requests. In this case, partitions are erected or moved, heating and water supply systems are installed, electrical wiring is replaced, stretch or suspended ceilings are installed. The average cost of work in this case is from 8.2 thousand per 1 sq.m. m without taking into account the cost of materials, follows from the calculations of experts.

In addition, the analysts continued, finishing accounted for 10% of the requests. This is the final stage of renovation, when the space is brought to a habitable state: decorative plaster is applied, interior doors, plumbing equipment and sockets are installed. The work will cost an average of 5 thousand per 1 square meter, not including materials.

Rough finishing, that is, preparing the room for finishing, took 5% of the demand. The average price for these works starts from 9.2 thousand per 1 sq. m, also excluding materials.

Also, according to Avito Services analytics, more and more apartment owners are turning to professional designers in an effort to create a comfortable and aesthetic interior. In August, the turnkey design project became the leader. Over the summer, the number of requests for such a service increased 2.1 times compared to last year, while the average cost was from 2 thousand per 1 sq. m.

There was no less demand for author supervision, a service in which a designer monitors the progress of work so that everything fits the project. The number of requests for it increased by 33%, and the starting price is 15 thousand.

Who's for the new one: the maintenance fee will be allocated in a separate payment

The initiative, which will soon be considered in the State Duma, may reduce bills for the maintenance of living space.

Earlier, on August 21, Sergey Shikhov, CEO of the interior company Mr.Doors, said that making complex orders, searching for alternative materials and components, as well as studying offers during the seasonal ones, will significantly reduce costs when ordering furniture according to individual parameters.
