Reuters reported on the EU's intention to use Russian assets bypassing Hungary
The European Union (EU) is considering providing Ukraine with a loan secured by funds from frozen Russian assets in order to circumvent a possible veto from Hungary. This was reported on September 18 by the Reuters news agency.
"Officials close to the project said that the new mechanism could be created by a coalition of willing, rather than all 27 EU governments, if Hungary does not want to participate in it," the publication says.
