Russian Tandelova won the bronze medal at the World Wrestling Championships

Russian athlete Amina Tandelova became the bronze medalist of the World Wrestling Championship. The competition was held on September 18 in Zagreb.

In the duel, Tandelova defeated her opponent from Bulgaria, Bilyana Dudova. The Russian athlete took the third place in the weight category up to 62 kg.

Tandelova is 21 years old, she is also the current champion of Russia.

Earlier, on September 15, Russian freestyle wrestler Amanula Gadzhimagomedov won a silver medal at the World Championships in Zagreb. In the final in the category up to 92 kg, Gadzhimagomedov lost to American Trent Hidley. The Russian led with a score of 10:2, but in the end he was defeated — 10:13.
