Russian President Vladimir Putin said on September 18 that he considered it possible to consider abolishing the patent system for migrants.

"The abolition of the patent system for migrants is something to think about. It is widely used. I'm not ruling anything out. I will ask you to work with your colleagues," he said at a meeting with the leaders of political party factions in the State Duma.
