In Russia, on September 19, a holiday called the Mikhailovo Miracle was celebrated. Church holiday on September 19th
On September 19, the Orthodox Church remembers one of the miracles revealed by Archangel Michael. This event took place in the IV century in the city of Khoneh (modern Colossus, Turkey). According to legend, Archangel Michael appeared in a dream to the father of a mute girl and pointed him to a healing spring, the water from which restored the child's voice. In gratitude for saving his daughter, the man built a temple next to the spring in honor of the archangel and was baptized with his family.
Over time, patients from all over the area, both Christians and Gentiles, began to come to the source. Many, having witnessed miraculous healings, renounced idols. This provoked the anger of the pagans. Wanting to destroy the temple and destroy the priests, they connected the channels of two rivers and directed the flow towards the building. But their plan was not destined to come true — at the prayer of Saint Archippus, who served as a sexton in the temple, Archangel Michael appeared. He struck the mountain with his wand, opening a crevice into which the water had gone. This miracle led to the conversion of many pagans to Christianity.

O All-holy, great Michael the Archangel! Do not despise us sinners who pray to you for your help and intercession in this world and in the future, but make us worthy to glorify the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit forever and ever.
