More than a third of Ukrainian employers have faced dismissals of young men

37% of Ukrainian companies felt an outflow of staff among men aged 18-22 who were allowed to leave the country, according to the portal's survey data. Work.ua .

"Among small businesses with up to 10 employees, only 19% faced the problem of dismissal. But among employers of more than 1,000 employees, as many as 60% of respondents stated this challenge," the article says.

Most often, young people leave the hotel and restaurant sector. 65% of the surveyed representatives of this industry indicated that their company has already had layoffs. Also from the retail sector (59%) and the food industry (52%).

The survey was conducted in September 2025.
