Belgee has introduced in Russia an updated version of the X70 crossover, which entered the Russian market in July last year. The exterior of the Belarusian-made model has been changed, the multimedia system has been improved and the configuration has been optimized, the company's press service said in a statement received by Izvestia on September 18.

The updated Belgee X70, which is still based on the Geely Atlas Pro, is offered in two trim levels priced from 2.58 million and 2.6 million rubles, excluding discounts. As before, the X70 is equipped with a 1.5-liter turbo engine with a capacity of 150 hp with a 6-speed classic automatic. At the start of sales, the model is only available with front-wheel drive. At the same time, the pre-styling version is offered with both front-wheel drive (2.83-2.95 million rubles) and a 177-horsepower engine and all-wheel drive (3.12-3.43 million rubles).

The updated Belgee X70 can be distinguished by the new design of the radiator grille with large vertical slats. The color palette of the body has expanded due to the appearance of the Starnight Blue shade. The multimedia system with a 12.3-inch touchscreen has become more productive and has a smartphone integration function on the iOS platform. The head unit is already available in the initial configuration, which also includes 17-inch wheels, an engine start button, dual-zone climate control, a light sensor, power windows, a multi-steering wheel with leather trim and height and departure adjustment, cruise control with a speed limiter and other options.

The more expensive version includes diode headlights instead of halogen ones, side airbags, front parking sensors, a keyless entry system, and a rain sensor. Owners of Android devices will be offered a B-Box device as an accessory, allowing them to use popular applications, including navigation ones.

Earlier, on September 15, it was reported that sales of Belgee cars in Russia increased 2.2 times in August and amounted to 7,806 units. For the first time, the Belarusian brand entered the top five leaders of the Russian car market, surpassing the Changan brand.

On September 9, Belgee announced that sales of the new Belgee X80 hybrid crossover will begin in Belarus at the end of September. It is stated that this is the first series-parallel hybrid in the line of the Belarusian plant. The Chinese Geely Galaxy Starship 7 was used as the basis for the Belgee X80.
