More than 1.7 million people attended sports events in the Luzhniki Sports Complex as part of the Moscow. Sport. "Man of the future". The event, organized by the Moscow City Sports Department, started on August 1 and ended last weekend.
For 1.5 months, the Luzhniki Forum site has been a point of attraction for sports and active lifestyle enthusiasts. Muscovites and guests of the capital took part in 3.8 thousand trainings and sports activities in 19 thematic zones, providing full houses at all venues. More than 25,000 people attended lectures, autograph sessions and open meetings attended by famous athletes. More than 50 amateur padel, beach volleyball, basketball, rugby football and esports tournaments were held. More than 50,000 people participated in the Running Community's training sessions and more than 900 children participated in the Children's Race. 2,690 stellar training sessions were organized with the participation of famous athletes, coaches, bloggers, including Samira Mustafayeva, Alina Zagitova, Assol Vasilyeva, Katya Adushkina and others.
Everyone could try padel, a new and rapidly gaining popularity sport in Moscow, as well as ride an ice rink with an innovative all-season coating, thanks to which the ice remained stable even in the summer heat. The largest extreme park in Russia with an area of 3.4 thousand square meters, accommodating 500 people at the same time, was always popular. The forum's innovations also included a multifunctional transformable playground, which was ready for competitions in a new sport every week, immersive treadmills and exercise bikes, motion capture technology for interactive games and entrance areas, an outdoor climbing wall with an athlete's figure and minimal age restrictions, augmented reality binoculars for immersion in the panoramas of the territory and an infomat with built-in artificial intelligence.

"Man of the Future" was divided into thematic weeks, during which master classes, tournaments, open training sessions and public talks with famous athletes and influencers took place. For example, Andrei Kirilenko, the legendary basketball player and president of the Russian Basketball Federation, became the ambassador of the Basketball Week (more than 277,000 participants). The event brought together master classes for children from the coaches of the Russian women's national team, spectacular mini-tournaments with champions, open training sessions, interactive basketball with famous athletes. The key event was the Russian Biathlon Basketball Cup.
Rugby Week (over 198,000 participants) was marked by open meetings with champions and legendary players, including Alyona Tyrone, a Russian rugby player, participant of the Tokyo Olympics and multiple European champion, Kristina Seredina, participant of the Olympic Games, as well as training sessions and tournaments of the country's leading rugby clubs.
The Football Week (over 245,000 participants) combined real and virtual games and presented exciting show matches, workshops and autograph sessions with football stars, including Artem Dzyuba. The week of "Digital. Intellectual Sports" (over 238,000 participants) invited the forum guests to play a group chess match with grandmaster Daria Charochkina, as well as to watch Daria's show match with esports player Vladimir "PGG" Anosov, which took place on a large digitized chessboard during the game and was broadcast online. The Grand Final of the CyberMoscow 2030 tournament was also held during the week.
More than 127 thousand people joined the Day of Physical Education in two days. The Sports Weekend festival, which celebrated its fifth anniversary, gathered more than 50,000 people. In children's events - "Festival of Childhood" and "Prepati. Knowledge Day" was attended by more than 109 thousand people (in two days) and more than 48 thousand people, respectively.
As part of the women's Beauty in Motion festival, which brought together more than 112,000 participants, mass outdoor training sessions were held, including with figure skating champion Sofia Akatieva and famous gymnast Samira Mustafayeva. Leading experts spoke about the science of tomorrow - biohacking, its application in a megalopolis, and how to find a balance between work and personal time.
More than 10 thousand athletes combined the "Race 2030", the La Strada cycling race at a distance of 50 kilometers and the La Strada Fest cycling festival with a 17-kilometer distance, organized by the Moscow City Sports Department and the League of Heroes.
