The incidence of tuberculosis decreased in the Moscow region in 2025. This is reported by the online publication "Podmoskovye Segodnya" with reference to information from the Ministry of Health of the region.
From January to August, the decrease was 6.1% compared to the same period in 2024. Comprehensive work on the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of tuberculosis has been organized in the Moscow region. The Moscow Regional Clinical Tuberculosis Dispensary has 12 branches and 28 dispensary departments and tuberculosis rooms. To provide inpatient care to patients, there are six round-the-clock departments with a total of 900 beds.
In the Irkutsk region, the incidence of tuberculosis decreased by 17.7% in the first half of 2025. 476 new cases of the disease have been identified.
