A resident of Energodar, who transferred money to foreign bank accounts used by the special services of Ukraine, was sentenced to 14 years in a penal colony for treason. This was announced on September 18 by the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Crimea.

It is specified that from the end of 2023 to May 2024, the defendant transferred about 7 thousand rubles through a mobile application for financial support of the Ukrainian armed forces.

The court, taking into account the position of the public prosecutor, sentenced her to 14 years of imprisonment in a correctional colony with a subsequent restriction of freedom for 1 year.

"The state accusation is supported by the Prosecutor's office of the Republic of Crimea," the agency said in a Telegram channel.

On September 17, a Russian was sentenced to 14 years in a penal colony for transferring data on ships of the Black Sea Fleet to the special services of Ukraine. It was clarified that the attacker photographed the locations of ships, as well as the deployment and movement of helicopters of the Russian National Guard troops, sent the materials to a representative of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) and received a reward for this.
