- Muscovites gave over 16 thousand gifts to the "Houses of Kindness" over the summer
Over the summer, residents of the capital gave more than 16 thousand gifts to the "Houses of Kindness". This was announced on September 18 by the Moscow portal mos.ru .
"During the Summer in Moscow project, citizens have given over 16,000 gifts to the Houses of Kindness. They were especially fond of choosing the necessary things for those who need support and care right now," said Alexander Levit, director of the Mosvolonter resource center.
According to the portal, Muscovites actively helped in collecting gifts for participants of the special military operation (SVO) and children from new regions, as well as pet supplies for animals in the "Houses of Kindness" of the Moscow Helps project. More than 4,9 thousand gifts were collected for the participants of the SVO.
"Most of the gifts in the "Houses of Kindness" — more than 10.4 thousand units — were collected for children living in new regions. Muscovites brought school supplies, including notebooks, colored and plain pencils, pens, markers, erasers and more," the article says.
Toys and board games, puzzles depicting Russian cities, souvenirs, nesting dolls, and sporting goods were given to younger children. It is noted that Muscovites also brought various books to the "Houses of Goodness" — from educational literature to classics. Caring residents of the capital collected more than 1,400 pet supplies for animals from shelters, as well as dry and wet food and cereals.
Currently, the "Let's get a child ready for School" campaign is taking place in the capital for students from new regions of Russia. By September 30, everyone can transfer the necessary things for studying to the Moscow Helps collection headquarters and the Good Place volunteer centers.

The project sites have become a profitable platform for business development. So, in the current season, 250 new business owners from the field of catering and trade joined him, including at the Moscow Seasons venues.
