Dresses, sundresses, and sunglasses are the leaders among the products from marketplaces that Russians most often return to sellers. Such data was shown by a Moneyplace study, reported on September 18. "Газета.Ru ".

"The low percentage of purchases of clothes and shoes, especially dresses and sunglasses, is directly related to the problems of choosing the size, material, style, as well as the discrepancy between the product and its online image," explained Anastasia Romanova, an analyst at Moneyplace.

At the same time, products with minimal risks of discontent enjoy the highest loyalty: pet food (98.9%), baby food (97.1%) and groceries (96.1%).

Earlier, on August 21, it was reported that customers are twice as likely to return to a particular brand in online stores than on marketplaces. A study by the NAFI Analytical center and the Union of Electronic Commerce showed that websites outperform marketplaces in terms of such parameters as lifetime customer value, consumer loyalty index, and average annual revenue from a customer.
