- A concert in honor of the 110th anniversary of the birth of composer Sviridov will be held at Zaryadye
The concert on the occasion of the 110th anniversary of the birth of composer Georgy Sviridov will take place on September 24, at 19:00, at the Moscow Concert Hall (MKZ) Zaryadye.
The program includes little—known masterpieces by the maestro in a magnificent performance by the Tchaikovsky State Academic Large Symphony Orchestra, the Masters of Choral Singing Academic Large Choir and the Cantus Boys Choir under the direction of Lev Kontorovich.
The main work of the evening will be the grandiose choral cycle "Chants and Prayers", many of the fragments of which will be performed for the first time.
