The United Kingdom and the United States were able to agree on joint investments of $380 billion. This was announced on September 17 by the Office of British Prime Minister Keir Starmer.

"The main package of investment commitments is aimed at increasing jobs, stimulating growth and creating opportunities for working people across the country," the publication says.

During the state visit of US President Donald Trump, agreements were reached under which American companies will invest £150 billion in the British economy.

Among the major investors who have made investment announcements are Google (£5 billion), Microsoft (£22 billion) and Palantir (£1.5 billion).

It is also noted that for more than 50 years, the UK will play a significant role in the production of aircraft for the BBC USA.

Earlier in the day, it was reported that the United States and Britain had reached an agreement on technology investments, which would involve $42 billion in funds from leading American companies. This agreement is aimed at strengthening ties in the fields of artificial intelligence, quantum computing and civil nuclear energy.
