The heirs of American singer Whitney Houston, who died in 2012, together with the companies Primary Wave Music and Park Avenue Artists, will organize concerts in seven US cities, where the singer's voice generated by artificial intelligence (AI) will sound. This was reported by Variety magazine on September 17.

"The heirs of Whitney E. Houston, together with Primary Wave Music and Park Avenue Artists, plan to return the departed singer to the stage. In particular, the heirs have equipped the Moises music creation platform with AI—based sound separation technology to extract Houston's vocals from original recordings, which will allow for live orchestral performances as part of a seven-city tour," the publication says.

It is noted that these concerts will provide an opportunity for fans of Houston's work to hear her again.

"The result is something truly special: a gift for long—time fans and a powerful introduction to a new generation discovering her voice," the publication says.

Earlier, on June 13, 2023, musician Paul McCartney announced the release of the latest song by the British band The Beatles. The musician said that he used AI to "extract" John Lennon's voice from an old demo and complete a song that is several decades old.
