The European diplomat declared the absurdity of abandoning Russian oil

Europe will not be able to refuse to purchase Russian oil, as such a step will not be accepted by the population of the European Union (EU) countries. This was announced on September 17 by a high-ranking European diplomatic source.

"There are discussions, but everyone understands that this scenario is unrealistic, and the population of European countries will not accept it," the source said.

Earlier, US President Donald Trump suggested that the EU stop buying Russian oil and impose duties against countries cooperating with Moscow.
