Russian Denis Postovoy, who was accused of violating export controls in the United States, was taken into custody by the American Immigration and Customs Control Service. This was announced on Wednesday, September 17, by William Coffield, the detainee's lawyer.

According to the lawyer, the Guard was initially placed under house arrest in the state of Florida.

"But before he could be released, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers came and took him out of prison and brought him to a detention center...> in Farmville, Virginia," Coffield said in an interview with TASS.
