Two Hezbollah commanders killed by Israeli UAV explosion in Lebanon
Two commanders of the Shiite Hezbollah movement were killed in the explosion of an Israeli unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) in the city of Baalbek in eastern Lebanon. This was reported on September 17 by the central news agency Almarkazia.
It is reported that an Israeli drone struck a car in the area of Al-Assir in the city of Baalbek. As a result, the leaders of the movement, Hussein Seif Sharif and Kamal Raad Sharif, were killed.
"The [Israeli] air force attacked a Hezbollah element in Baalbek, eastern Lebanon," the publication notes.
Earlier, on September 16, it was reported that 12 people were injured as a result of a series of strikes carried out by the Israeli Air Force on the city of Nabatiya in southern Lebanon. It was noted that the number of victims may increase after the completion of the rescue operation.
